How we use it and why

- To engage and pay contractors and carry out right-to-work and compliance checks. Our lawful bases are contract and legal obligation.

Who we share it with
- Clients, when you have agreed to be put forward for a role.
- Our back-office partner, which pays contractors and invoices clients on our behalf. It acts as a separate data controller for payroll information.
- Service providers who support our business, such as our recruitment database, email, document signing, identity verification, accounting and website hosting providers. They only process your information on our instructions.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where required by law.
We never sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of our service providers store information outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK’s adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Candidates, contractors and client contacts: for as long as the relationship remains relevant. We review our records regularly and get in touch periodically to check you are still happy to hear from us.
- Right-to-work and identity documents: for two years after the end of an engagement.
- Website enquiries that do not lead to an ongoing relationship: 12 months.
